Ajay Gupta Takes Charge as New VP and Regional Head for SAARC at Netskope

In a landmark move that reflects Netskope’s rising prominence across South Asia, Ajay Gupta has ascended to the role of Vice President and Country Manager for the SAARC region. The announcement follows a transformative phase for the cybersecurity powerhouse, which now safeguards more than 3900 enterprises across the globe.

Gupta’s journey with Netskope began in 2018, a pivotal year when the company planted its roots in India. Since then, his vision has guided the expansion of Netskope’s footprint across metropolitan landscapes including Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata. Under his leadership, India has blossomed into the firm’s second-largest hub for innovation and development.

In recent times, Netskope has deepened its investment in India’s digital fabric by launching three state-of-the-art data centres. With a total of eight centres now operating across cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Chennai, these facilities are seamlessly woven into the company’s NewEdge private cloud architecture. Their mission is to boost performance and enable complete local data handling for clients across the region.

One of the most striking demonstrations of Netskope’s capability is its successful deployment of cloud security services for a leading IT firm, encompassing an enormous workforce of 250000 individuals. This milestone speaks volumes about the firm’s growing influence and trust within the enterprise sector.

Tony Burnside, who leads the APAC division at Netskope, acknowledged Gupta’s vital contributions by stating, “Ajay and his team have built on strong foundations, and this promotion is a recognition of their achievements.” His words capture the essence of a journey marked by resilience, foresight and consistent delivery.

Ajay Gupta’s elevation is not merely a professional milestone, but a reflection of the region’s burgeoning appetite for next-generation security and networking solutions. As Netskope rides this wave of demand, Gupta’s leadership will no doubt steer the company through its next phase of innovation and regional prominence.
