Harmony Intelligence has secured $3 million in seed funding, led by Airtree. The investment also saw contributions from over 30 investors, including First Row Partners and Eric Ries, CEO of Adept AI.
This Harmony funding is a response to the rising threats posed by AI-driven cyberattacks. Reports show that over half of businesses in the US and UK have encountered deepfake scams, with 43% of those affected. One notable case involved the UK engineering firm Arup, where fraudsters utilized AI deepfake technology to mimic executives, leading to losses of $25 million.
Harmony has been actively involved in cybersecurity testing for advanced AI models through collaborations with international governments and AI safety initiatives.
