AI+ set to launch Nova 2 5G and Nova 2 Ultra 5G in India on April 9

Expanding its smartphone portfolio in India, AI+, the brand owned by NxtQuantum Shift Technologies, is preparing to introduce its new Nova 2 5G and Nova 2 Ultra 5G models.

The Madhav Sheth-led company shared a teaser confirming that both smartphones will launch on April 9. The teaser also revealed key design details and colour options for the upcoming devices. The Nova 2 Ultra 5G will be available in Black, Blue, Green, Purple, and Red, while the Nova 2 5G will come in Black, Blue, Green, Pink, and Purple. The official names of these shades have not yet been disclosed. Both models feature red-accented power buttons.

The teaser also highlights that the Nova 2 Ultra 5G will include notification lights on the rear panel, adding a distinct design element.

The new lineup is expected to bring upgrades over the earlier AI+ Pulse and Nova 5G smartphones launched in July last year. These previous models were introduced at starting prices of Rs. 4,999 and Rs. 7,999, respectively.

The earlier devices featured 6.7-inch HD+ displays and operated on NxtQuantum’s NxtQ OS. The AI+ Pulse was powered by a Unisoc T615 chipset, while the Nova 5G came with a Unisoc T8200 processor. Both models included AI-backed dual rear camera systems with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and were equipped with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 18W charging.

With the upcoming launch, AI+ is expected to strengthen its presence in the affordable 5G smartphone segment in India.
