Agilisium invests ₹50 crore to reskill workforce for AI roles in life sciences

As artificial intelligence adoption grows in life sciences, Agilisium has announced an investment of ₹50 crore to reskill its global workforce of more than 1,000 professionals.

The company plans to train these employees as “forward deployment experts” who will work closely with life sciences teams. Their role will be to design, deploy, and continuously manage AI-driven solutions across operations.

These trained professionals will collaborate across scientific, regulatory, and business functions. The aim is to ensure AI becomes a practical part of daily operations rather than just a concept.

Founder and CEO Raj Babu said the biggest challenge in AI adoption is not the technology itself, but the shortage of skilled talent who can use it effectively.

To address this, Agilisium will transform its existing workforce into embedded AI partners for clients. These experts will support organisations in integrating AI into real-world processes and improving outcomes.

The initiative is focused on helping life sciences companies maximise the value of AI while solving the industry’s growing talent gap.
