Adobe Rolls Out Firefly Boards Globally with New AI Video Models and Creative Features

Adobe has officially launched Firefly Boards worldwide, its AI-first collaborative platform designed for brainstorming and content creation. Previously available in beta, the platform now integrates AI models from Adobe and partners including Google, Runway, Luma AI, Black Forest Labs, and Moonvalley.

The launch introduces two new generative video models, Runway Aleph and Moonvalley Marey, enabling creators to produce storyboards, motion clips, and visual narratives all within Firefly Boards. The platform already supports models such as Luma AI’s Ray, Google’s Gemini 2.5 Flash Image, Veo 3, and Pika, offering a wide range of creative possibilities.

Adobe has also added three features to streamline workflows. Presets let users generate images in various styles, including product mockups and character designs, with a single click. Generative Text Edit (beta) allows direct modification of text within visuals inside Boards. Describe Image automatically generates prompts based on existing images, making it easier to refine or recreate visuals. Adobe said these tools reduce iteration time and help teams stay aligned without switching between platforms.

Firefly Boards supports real-time collaboration, with all assets, models, and edits accessible in one workspace. To complement the launch, Adobe is introducing new subscription plans—Standard, Pro, and Premium—offering different generative credit capacities. All plans provide unlimited canvases, access to partner models, and integration with applications like Photoshop (web and mobile) and Adobe Express Premium. Creative Cloud Pro members will continue to have access to premium Firefly features.

With this global rollout, Adobe aims to position Firefly Boards as a central hub for ideation and iteration, combining AI models, creative tools, and collaborative capabilities in a single platform.
