Adobe Launches Premiere on iPhone to Bring Pro Video Editing to Mobile Creators

Adobe has introduced Premiere on iPhone, a mobile version of its popular video editing software, giving creators access to professional-grade tools anytime and anywhere. The app, available worldwide on the App Store, offers a fast and user-friendly editing experience for short films, YouTube and TikTok content, podcasts, music videos, and more.

Adobe mobile app brings several key features of Premiere Pro to iPhone, including an unlimited multi-track timeline with 4K HDR editing, precise frame cuts, animated captions, speed and motion effects, and instant background removal. Users can also access millions of free creative assets such as fonts, stickers, images, and royalty-free music. Exports are tailored for major platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts, with automatic resizing to ensure the main action stays in frame.

Artificial intelligence is at the core of the new app. Features such as Enhance Speech help create clear voiceovers, while Generative Sound Effects provide perfectly timed audio. Adobe’s AI also enables custom stickers, background expansion, and even image-to-video creation.

“Premiere on iPhone makes it easy for creators to craft and share stories with studio-quality audio, precise editing tools, and stunning visuals,” said Mike Polner, VP of product marketing at Adobe.

The app is free to download, with optional upgrade plans offering more generative credits and storage. An Android version is currently under development. With this launch, Adobe aims to support mobile-first content creation for both casual creators and professional storytellers.
