Adobe launches AI agents and platform for businesses

Adobe has announced the general availability of its new AI agents, designed to transform how businesses create, deliver, and optimise customer experiences and marketing campaigns.

The new system is powered by the Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) Agent Orchestrator, which allows businesses to manage and customise AI agents from Adobe and other providers. Many large organisations already use AEP to connect and activate their data in real time. By building AI agents on this platform, Adobe enables businesses to use their own data, content, and workflows to deliver context-aware and valuable outcomes.

According to Adobe, over 70 per cent of companies using AEP have already adopted the AI Assistant. This tool acts as a chat interface where teams can communicate with AI agents in simple language. The AEP Agent Orchestrator then uses reasoning engines to interpret prompts and assign tasks to the right agents. A human-in-the-loop option allows staff to step in and make refinements when required.

Adobe has also embedded ready-to-use AI agents directly into its core business products such as Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform and Adobe Journey Optimiser. These agents are built to accelerate customer experience orchestration by helping marketers improve efficiency and decision-making.

The Audience Agent identifies and manages customer groups, suggesting valuable audiences and tracking performance. The Journey Agent helps design customer journeys across email, mobile, and other channels, spotting drop-off points and suggesting improvements. The Experimentation Agent analyses test results, predicts outcomes, and supports idea generation to improve customer experiences.

For data-focused teams, the Data Insights Agent analyses behaviour patterns, visualises trends, and forecasts results to support decision-making. The Site Optimisation Agent keeps websites running smoothly by detecting issues such as broken links or slow pages that affect customer engagement. Finally, the Product Support Agent provides troubleshooting and support, including creating and tracking support cases within user workflows.

With these tools, Adobe aims to help businesses automate complex processes, enhance customer engagement, and strengthen their digital presence.
