Acer Dazzles with AI Magic Ahead of Computex 2025

As the world gears up for Computex, one of the largest showcases of cutting-edge technology, Acer is already turning heads with its latest AI-powered innovations that feel both practical and imaginative.

Among the brand’s upcoming launches, two devices stand out for their user-focused appeal. First is the Acer ProCreator Series touchscreen monitor paired with the AI Drawing app. This duo could become a dream for visual creators, allowing them to turn simple sketches into detailed, textured art instantly — all on the device itself, with no need for cloud access or internet connection. A rough rectangle becomes Taipei 101, and a scribbled face evolves into a vibrant CG-style portrait. It also responds to text prompts, making artwork modification as easy as writing a sentence.

While AI tools like Midjourney and Canva have offered similar experiences online, Acer’s innovation lies in embedding this power directly into your laptop or desktop — offering speed, privacy, and offline functionality in a single touch. Artists, photographers, and designers are expected to benefit immensely from this standalone experience that blends creativity with color precision.

The second head-turner from Acer is the AI TransBuds, a smart pair of earbuds made for travelers and multilingual conversations. These AI-enabled earbuds provide real-time, two-way translation powered by speech recognition and semantic analysis. Unlike typical translation apps, only one person needs to wear the earbuds to facilitate natural conversation — making them ideal for meetings, study sessions, and travel.

They come with live captioning and transcription features, supporting 15 languages from Asia, Europe, and the Americas. All they need is a connection to your smartphone or tablet.

Though hands-on testing was limited at Acer’s media preview, the experience left a lasting impression. With official unveiling scheduled at Computex from May 20 to May 25, excitement is already building.

Acer may have just raised the bar for useful AI — this time, not just for show, but for real-world value.
