Accenture has teamed up with the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) to launch specialized training programs aimed at developing critical digital skills for the burgeoning field of software-defined vehicles (SDVs).
This collaboration seeks to equip automotive manufacturers and their technology centers with the talent required to build the next generation of intelligent vehicles.
The training initiatives will be offered through Accenture’s LearnVantage Software-Defined Vehicle Academy, in association with the Centre of Excellence in Advanced Automotive Research (CAAR) at IIT Madras.
The curriculum is meticulously designed to cover a wide array of essential topics, including the Internet of Things (IoT), embedded systems, vehicle safety protocols, cybersecurity measures, and cloud computing. Participants will also be trained on industry-specific standards such as AUTOSAR and ASPICE.
These programs are primarily targeted at working professionals within the automotive industry, addressing the escalating demand for skilled talent in areas like Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning, cybersecurity, and advanced safety systems, as vehicles become increasingly software-driven.
Accenture and IIT Madras partnership further strengthens an existing collaborative relationship between Accenture and IIT Madras, which already includes a joint research center and ongoing cooperation on data science and machine learning certifications. This new initiative marks a significant step towards bridging the talent gap in the rapidly evolving automotive technology landscape.
