Abbas Panju joins Aramex as Senior Vice President, GCC and India

In his new role, Abbas Panju will focus on driving business growth, improving operational excellence, and leading strategic expansion across the GCC region and India. The move aims to strengthen Aramex’s presence across key trade corridors and high-growth markets.

Before joining Aramex, Abbas Panju spent over 5 years at UPS. Most recently, he served as Managing Director for India. During his tenure, he also held several senior leadership positions, including Managing Director – Middle East & Central Asia, Managing Director – Middle East, Managing Director – UAE, and Country Manager – ISMEA.

His career at UPS Asia, UPS Middle East, and UPS Supply Chain Solutions included senior responsibilities across South East Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and the Indian Subcontinent. In these roles, he gained wide exposure to regional operations, market development, and cross-border logistics management.

Abbas Panju began his professional journey at Maersk India Pvt Ltd, where he built a strong foundation in client servicing and logistics operations. His early experience played a key role in shaping his understanding of global supply chains and customer-focused solutions.

With leadership experience spanning Aramex, UPS, and Maersk, Abbas Panju brings deep industry knowledge and global perspective to his new role. His appointment is expected to support Aramex’s growth strategy and reinforce its leadership position across the GCC and Indian markets.
