Wipro has announced the appointment of Aarti Bansal Lamba as Head Cyber Risk Governance, recognising her expertise in cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance.
In her new role, she will lead Wipro’s global cyber risk governance initiatives, focusing on strengthening enterprise-wide frameworks and advancing the company’s cybersecurity resilience through innovation, governance excellence, and the integration of artificial intelligence.
With over 15 years of experience in cybersecurity and risk management, Aarti brings extensive knowledge across industries and global operations. Her leadership has been centred on developing strong security frameworks, improving compliance systems, and using advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence to enhance protection against evolving cyber threats.
Prior to this elevation, Aarti served as Associate Director AI in Cybersecurity at Wipro, where she was instrumental in integrating artificial intelligence into cybersecurity frameworks. Her work enabled predictive threat detection, automated risk assessments, and improved governance across enterprise systems, further strengthening Wipro’s reputation as a trusted technology partner for global clients.
Throughout her career, Aarti has held key leadership roles at DXC Technology, SBI Card, EXL, PwC, and KPMG. During this time, she gained significant expertise in compliance assurance, data protection, and security strategy, along with experience in designing risk frameworks, implementing security policies, and managing large-scale cybersecurity operations across international enterprises.
