Before joining Netflix, Vamsi served as Executive Director and Marketing Head at JioStar, where he led impactful campaigns across digital, television, and experiential channels. His strategic approach helped strengthen brand visibility and build deep connections with diverse audiences.
Earlier in his career, Vamsi played a key role at Disney+ Hotstar, where he transformed entertainment marketing with data-driven, full-funnel strategies that shaped how Indian viewers interact with streaming content. He led the platform’s sports marketing initiatives and managed the promotion of several successful original productions such as Criminal Justice, Aarya, Special Ops, and Koffee with Karan. His work elevated content visibility and set new standards in storytelling and audience engagement within India’s OTT landscape.
Vamsi has also held prominent marketing roles at BookMyShow, ZEE5, Myntra Jabong, MakeMyTrip, Reliance Communications, and Radio Mirchi. Across these positions, he created memorable brand campaigns that resonated culturally and left a lasting impact. His expertise spans integrated marketing communication, media strategy, brand innovation, and digital engagement, reflecting his ability to strengthen brand identity in competitive markets.
