BharatPe has announced the appointment of Shilpi Kapoor as marketing head, further strengthening its leadership team in India’s fast-growing fintech sector. Shilpi brings over 20 years of experience across leading organisations such as Airtel Payments Bank, American Express, Renault Group, Godfrey Phillips India, Bharti Airtel Foundation, The Coca-Cola Company, and UB Group.
Before joining BharatPe, Shilpi served as chief marketing officer at Airtel Payments Bank, where she led impactful campaigns like “The Safe Digital Account” and “A New Way to Pay”. These initiatives significantly enhanced the bank’s digital presence and strengthened its position in India’s financial services market.
Prior to that, Shilpi held strategic marketing and leadership roles at American Express, where she led marketing and business insights for the JAPA region and drove brand engagement through campaigns such as “Don’t Live Life Without It”. During her tenure at Groupe Renault, she played a key role in launching the Renault KWID, one of the most successful automotive campaigns in India.
Her earlier contributions at Godfrey Phillips India, Bharti Airtel, The Coca-Cola Company, and UB Group reflect her strong ability to combine creative storytelling with measurable business results.
At BharatPe, Shilpi will lead the company’s marketing strategy and drive customer engagement initiatives, focusing on strengthening BharatPe’s brand positioning in the competitive fintech landscape. Her deep expertise in marketing strategy, brand building, and digital transformation is expected to play a vital role in shaping the company’s next phase of growth.
