Snabbit’s valuation rises as demand grows for fast home help services

The demand for instant convenience in India is expanding beyond food and grocery delivery and is now reshaping the home help segment. This shift has helped Snabbit, an on demand home help startup, raise 30 million dollars in new funding and increase its valuation to 180 million dollars, up from 80 million dollars five months ago.

The all equity Series C round is Snabbit’s third fundraise in nine months. It was led by Bertelsmann India Investments with participation from existing investors Lightspeed Elevation Capital and Nexus Venture Partners. With this round Snabbit has now raised a total of 55 million dollars.

The Bengaluru based startup has seen rapid growth. It scaled from around 1000 daily jobs in May to more than 10000 bookings each day. In October it crossed 300,000 total orders according to founder and CEO Aayush Agarwal who shared the update in an interview with a general news source.

Launched in 2024 Snabbit provides cleaning, dishwashing, laundry and kitchen preparation services through a fully women led workforce of 5000 trained professionals. The company operates through a hyperlocal network positioned near residential clusters and promises service within 10 minutes.

Snabbit currently operates in 40 micro markets across Mumbai Bengaluru Gurugram Noida and Pune. It plans to deepen its presence in these cities and expand to Hyderabad Chennai Delhi and Calcutta soon. The company has served more than 300000 customers so far and expects to add another 100000 customers within the next month. Most users are aged between 30 and 40 including bachelors and working professionals.

Agarwal said some customers prefer flexible on demand help instead of full time domestic staff. He explained “We are basically taking inefficiency in the model and plugging that rather than saying Hey this was happening offline and now we will do it online.”

The startup reports a 30 to 35 percent retention rate and expects to reach an annual recurring revenue of 11 million dollars this month. Customer acquisition cost is stated to be well below 500 rupees. Services are priced around 150 rupees per hour with an average order value of about 240 rupees. Workers earn between 25000 and 30000 rupees a month and Snabbit has reduced their average walking distance between jobs to improve efficiency.

Snabbit competes with platforms that offer quick home services. The new funding will support its expansion into high frequency services such as cooking, child care and elderly care.
