Vivek Menon takes on an expanded role as Vice President – Talent Acquisition at Bank of America

A leadership advancement at Bank of America highlights the firm’s continued focus on building strong talent capabilities in India.

In his new role, Vivek Menon will strengthen strategic hiring delivery, improve recruitment quality, and build a strong talent pipeline aligned with the bank’s growth plans in India. With close to 2 decades of experience across recruitment, sourcing leadership, and multi-location hiring, he is known for delivering critical hiring solutions across Finance, Capital Markets, Global Markets, Procurement, Operations, and corporate functions.

In February 2026, Menon assumed charge as Vice President – Talent Acquisition, based in Gurugram, Haryana. He has spent over 6 years with Bank of America, progressing through senior roles in recruitment and talent strategy.

Before this promotion, Menon served for over 3 years as Assistant Vice President – Recruitment (Finance & Capital Markets Lead + Campus Lead – Ops & Finance). In this role, he led hiring for key business areas and built strong campus pipelines for operations and finance talent, supporting both immediate hiring and long-term workforce planning.

Earlier, he worked for more than 3 years as Senior Manager – Talent Acquisition (Finance, Global Markets & Procurement Hiring Lead – India). Here, he scaled hiring programs, strengthened sourcing capability, and partnered with leadership teams to deliver domain-focused recruitment strategies across finance, markets, and procurement.

Prior to Bank of America, Menon spent over 8 years at Genpact in multiple recruitment leadership roles. As Senior Manager – Recruitment (Sourcing Lead – India), he led a 45-member recruitment team handling bulk and lateral hiring across India. He managed direct sourcing channels and delivered hiring across consulting, corporate finance, analytics, investment banking, risk, governance, supply chain, legal, and communications. He also handled international hiring projects in the US, UK, and Philippines, and served as an SME for social media hiring strategy.

At Genpact, Menon also worked as Manager – Recruitment, strengthening stakeholder management, forecasting, multi-location team operations, senior hiring, sourcing strategy, and performance tracking. He began his recruitment career at Genpact as Management Trainee / Assistant Manager – Recruitment, managing end-to-end hiring processes.

Menon’s early career included a training role at NIIT Limited as Voice and Accent Trainer, where he delivered soft skills programs and supported operational performance. He also worked earlier at Genpact as a Process Developer, gaining operational exposure before moving fully into talent acquisition leadership.
