Blending advanced robotics with cultural artistry, luxury brand Caviar has revealed a new concept that pushes the boundaries of design-led technology. The company has unveiled Aladdin, a bespoke humanoid robot that transforms the Unitree G1 platform into a high-end, culturally inspired collectible.
Aladdin is presented as a commission-only concept and is not intended for mass production. Each robot will be individually crafted and customized, featuring handcrafted ornamentation with gold detailing and precious stone inlays. The design draws heavily from Arab culture and Islamic art, with visual references to traditional garments such as the chapan and caftan. Flowing shapes and decorative elements are used to resemble ceremonial robes associated with historic Arab nobility.
Caviar has positioned Aladdin as the world’s first luxury humanoid robot. At its core is the Unitree G1 platform, which offers 23 degrees of freedom, dynamic stabilization, and advanced actuators. The robot stands 130 cm tall and weighs around 35 kg, allowing it to walk, gesture, and perform natural movements. While the internal engineering remains intact, Caviar has completely reworked the exterior to reflect cultural symbolism and refined aesthetics.
The company describes the concept as a modern reinterpretation of the Aladdin story from One Thousand and One Nights. In this version, artificial intelligence replaces magic, with the robot symbolising a digital-age hero powered by intelligence and technology rather than myth.
Personalisation plays a central role in the project. Buyers are invited to participate in the design process by selecting motifs and symbolic details. Caviar’s designers and engineers then translate these choices into a finished piece, ensuring that every Aladdin robot is unique.
With this launch, Caviar expands its portfolio beyond luxury electronics into artistic robotics. The project is positioned as a statement on how future technologies can merge cultural identity with machine design.
Caviar has not disclosed pricing or production timelines for Aladdin, stating that both will be shared on request. In related announcements, the company recently revealed a $12,000 chocolate egg containing a gold smartphone and introduced the Secret Love iPhone 17 Pro collection, priced from $10,200.
