A key leadership change has taken place at SBFC Finance Limited with the elevation of Shivaji Manwadkar to the role of Chief Security Officer.
In his new position, Shivaji will be responsible for leading the organisation’s enterprise security strategy. His role will focus on safeguarding critical IT infrastructure, ensuring regulatory compliance, and strengthening cyber and operational security frameworks across the company. The move reflects SBFC Finance’s emphasis on building strong security capabilities as it scales its digital and business operations.
Shivaji brings deep institutional knowledge to the role, having held several important positions within SBFC Finance Limited. His journey at the organisation includes roles such as Senior Manager IT, Manager IT Tech Lead, and earlier as a Technical Analyst. These roles have given him a broad, end to end understanding of the company’s technology landscape, systems, and risk environment.
Before rejoining SBFC Finance, Shivaji worked as Manager IT at HDFC Bank. There, he gained hands on experience in managing technology within a large and complex banking ecosystem. Earlier in his career, he held technical and consulting roles at Saksoft and Impact Infotech, where he built a strong foundation in IT operations, enterprise systems, and technology support.
With experience spanning fintech and banking technology environments, Shivaji is well positioned to guide SBFC Finance’s security priorities. His elevation is expected to further strengthen the company’s ability to manage evolving cyber risks while supporting business growth and digital transformation initiatives.
