₹9.29 Crore Refunded to Cybercrime Victims in Hyderabad Lok Adalat

Hyderabad facilitated refunds worth ₹9.29 crores for victims of cybercrime during the third National Lok Adalat of the year. The refunds were processed across 941 cases, with the Zonal Cyber Cells (ZCCs) handling ₹1.5 crores and the Cyber Crimes Police Station (CCPS) managing ₹7.7 crores.

The ZCCs have shown steady progress over the past three Lok Adalats, collectively securing refunds of ₹2.81 crores. Between March and September 2025, the number of cases handled increased by 137 per cent, while refunds rose by 187 per cent, according to Hyderabad police.

Alongside cybercrime cases, the latest Lok Adalat also disposed of 1,977 FIRs, 21,394 E-petty cases and 3,803 traffic violation cases.

Seventeen morning courts dedicated to drunken driving and disaster management cases, along with thirteen Chief Judicial Magistrate courts managing compoundable matters, ensured speedy resolution of cases in Hyderabad. Additionally, smaller refund cases below ₹25,000 continue to be processed on a daily basis as directed by the Sessions Judge in coordination with the cyber crime police.
